2 killed, 4 injured in shooting in south Boston
Two people were killed and four others were injured when a gunman opened fire inside a home in south suburban Dorchester, police said.
The shooting occurred in the 400 block of South Oak Street in the Brighton Park neighborhood about 12:30 p.m. local time (2:30 a.m., ET) on Sunday, Boston police said in a statement.
A person was shot in the chest and the person was taken to a hospital, police spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau said.
Police have not released the names of the victims, but said they were male and female.
Police were searching for a suspect who fled the scene in a black car, police spokesman Kevin Miller said.
