The NBA playoff races will be played on February 26-28, with the teams facing off in the first round against the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers.
Here are some things to watch for in the upcoming games: NBA playoffs race: The Lakers have won three of the past four meetings between the two teams, with Kobe Bryant leading the way with 25 points on 9-of-11 shooting against the Bulls in the last meeting.
The Lakers will look to rebound from their loss to the Lakers last season, when they were outscored 38-17 in the fourth quarter by Chicago.
That game was the first of two games the Lakers will have against the Lakers in the playoffs.
“It’s going to be very exciting,” Lakers coach Luke Walton said.
“We’ll get the opportunity to play the best team in the league.
We know it’s going be an important game for both teams.”
It’s the second time the Lakers have played a team in their second season in the postseason, with both games in the 2011 NBA Finals.
The first game of that series was in January 2010.
The Bulls, meanwhile, will be looking to build on their last win over the Lakers.
The two teams last met in the 2014 NBA Finals, where the Bulls won 99-85.
Both teams are playing in the Eastern Conference finals.
