‘I didn’t deserve it’: Rapper is sent home from school for breaking curfew
A rapper has been sent home for breaking a curfew by his school, after he was caught with an illegal drug.
The rapper was caught last month by police when they received a call from his school informing them that a 17-year-old student had been found using the drug, according to the Detroit News.
The teenager was taken into custody and charged with possession of cocaine and paraphernalia, but a judge found him not guilty, saying that the evidence didn’t support the charge.
The Detroit News reports that police believe the 17- year-old may have taken the drug in his backpack.
The court documents said that the teen, who cannot be identified, told officers that he had been drinking on campus and had just taken a walk in the park with his friends.
The teen was charged with possessing cocaine and was released from the county jail in the morning on bond.
His attorney, Jonathan Davenport, said he would like to see his client put on probation.’
We believe he did what he was supposed to do.
It was in the best interest of his children to do so,’ Davenports told the newspaper.’
It was a mistake, and he made the wrong decision.
I think the court should have held him accountable for it.”
It’s not something that should be repeated.’
