Channel 9’s Bill Nye: Science is the key to human progress

Channel 9 News anchor Bill Neece says science is the reason we’re here today.

He said we need to understand how everything works and what happens when we’re exposed to it.

“We’ve got to get better at science because we’re the reason why all this is happening, we’re not the reason,” he said.

Channel 9 is a major Australian broadcaster which has a wide audience of over 12 million people a month.

Its news, current affairs and lifestyle channels have been around for more than 25 years and are widely seen as having a liberal agenda.

It has also had some controversy in recent years, with the channel being accused of bias in favour of the rightwing Australian Christian Lobby.
