Dallas Cowboys WR Dede Westbrook has knee surgery
Dede, who was selected fourth overall by the Dallas Cowboys in the 2014 NFL Draft, had surgery to repair a torn ACL in his left knee in August.
He will miss the first three games of the season, but will likely return in Week 4.
The Cowboys selected Westbrook with the 28th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft.
They drafted Dak Prescott and Cole Beasley in the same draft.
Westbrook had just three receptions for 35 yards in three games for Dallas in 2015, but was expected to contribute on special teams.
The Cowboys had their best season since 2008 in the postseason, finishing with a 16-5 record and making the Super Bowl.
